Poll question: Janeway is offering you and your partner a space on Voyager
The last time she did this the captain ended up stranded in the delta quadrant for years. If you decide to go you do so knowing that you may never return to earth. You will be trained in a field selected by you and a counselor. You will be expected to do your part to make the mission successful.

- You will only be able to bring 6 cubic feet of material things with you. (guessing thats about the size of a huge suitcase)

- If you have children under 18 they will be allowed to come.

- If you have pets that are spayed/neutered they can come but are restricted to quarters and 10 hours a week in the holodeck (as a group if more than one).

- Significant others can choose not to go, but this would nullify any "filed" relationship.

Would you accept this offer?

2. I couldn't stand my cat's scented butt bombs that long
If they have some kind of mini-transporter that takes away shit and beams it into space, then fine. I'll discuss it.

7. It is in the diet
Replicater food is designed so no crew member's farts stink. Interestingly enough, this finding was accidently discovered by Madelyne Haskat III from planet Merkinsphere.

4. I took the offer
But had to leave all material items behind.

P.S. what are the container dimensions that will equal 6 cubic feet. Odd choice.

8. Cheese almost destroyed the Voyager.
I for one am cheese-friendly, so any enemy of cheese is most certainly an enemy of mine. No Voyager, no way.

9. I'd bring a Beadazzler and a seventy-year supply of beads.
The Voyager was very talented, but they lacked pizazz.

10. To pop around the galaxy in a lightspeed++ vehicle? Fuck yeah. I'd leave my SO behind if I had to.
I'd prefer to take her, but I'd go on the journey, even a five year one, alone if I had to.

She'd totally understand.

But she'd sign up on her own anyway, so even if we couldn't take SOs, we'd still both be going.

14. I think I've been watching too much Star Trek...
...because the first thought that came to mind when I read this hypothetical was "So the Starfleet officer corps is so scared of Capt. Wrongway hauling them off to the back of beyond and/or getting them killed that she'll take almost anybody? Figures."
