Mr. Midlo is an idjit.
Yup. He is. Amex notified us last month that they had received word from Social Security that he was deceased and cancelled his card.

Well, three phone calls later, they reopened it.

He paid the bill Friday, but I warned him to check and see if the card was still open first, because if they still think he's dead, why pay the bill, right? I mean, it's not like they could sue the estate, because there is no estate. He's alive.

Did he listen to me? Of course not.

Now, he's still dead and he just paid off $4000 to a card we can't use.

Idjit.

He's at Social Security now getting himself declared 'un dead'.

You cannot make this up.

The placenta? Brains. Anyone who says differently is full of crap.

Why do you think they store cord blood in there? Brains. Grey matter.

3. well if the guy is dead can't you and the kids get the SSN benefits now
I remember them to be pretty helpful - helped paid for my brother's college but not much help to me since that asshole Reagan cut the age off at 18 for everyone instead of 18 only if you don't go to college.

4. The *funny* part is that I believe they mixed up
Mr. and my FIL.

Same name, same address. Different middle initials. Gah.

I had lots of plans for that card this week. I am pissed. Now I have to use mine.
