I have to post this, though it goes against everything I believe in.
I was just upstairs cleaning the bathroom when I heard our snowblower start up (we got at least nine inches last night - snow, I mean). I looked outside. It's my republican friends - my daughter's boss and his wife, at 56 and 53, in our driveway. He's snowblowing and she's shoveling us out. WHAT the hell?!!! I'm making them coffee!

They aren't all evil, you know. They really aren't.

11. Yes.
I invited them in for coffee, so they came in. When the coffee was finished, the Mr. went out and shoveled my front deck. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

2. I think it's
great that people are willing to help one another. Can you send them my way? I'm hoping someone will come by to see if we need (will pay) to be shoveled out.

:toast: to your friends!

15. That may be. It has me wondering why they gave my oldest
son seventy bucks last night to take his date out to the school dance. Yes, yes they did! I insisted on giving them a check this morning to cover it, but it won't be cashed. :hi:

16. Hello!
These people couldn't vote for Obama - but they disliked the shrub, too, for what he'd done to the party and to the country.

There are good people and assholes of every flavor.

14. I used to be more tolerant -- until I saw how their stupidity allowed Bushco. to ruin the country.
I'm not as welling to forgive and forget now. A big part of our problem was that liberals/moderates were being too complacent.

Sure, they're not all "evil" -- but their actions/beliefs have had very evil consequences.

19. I was sort of joking.
These people have been a godsend, literally, ever since we met them. I asked why they were doing our drive and the Mrs. said, "Oh, we're certifiable!" I couldn't disagree.

The new house is great, if crowded. We moved from 5000 square feet to under 2000 and it's a struggle finding a place for everything. Still, it's warm and cheerful and I'm really very happy. Hi, TK421! :hi:

10. I know this....isn't it beautiful?
:hi:
Congratulations on having wonderful neighbors! I work with two republican teachers. They happen to be the most loving and professional teachers in the building...The children are the winners here. They are truly beautiful souls. I know what their issue is...abortion. We don't talk about it.

We only see the ugly ones...like on the palin videos, or freeperville...

I'm happy for you ..knowing that you're in your new home with lovely neighbors...
Have a nice visit...
Stay warm!
:loveya:

peace~

Oh well, she came this close -----> <----- to voting for Obama...

And she's hot, too. Don't you agree?
