Pictures from the Mall in DC before the swearing in ceremony

I took these when I arrived around 8am--It took me almost an hour to walk from my Uncle's house on Capitol Hill to the Mall..it was quite a obstacle course. One time I went up a street only to find out it was blocked off except for those that had tickets which I didn't--D'OH! That was fun trying to go back agaisnt the crowd..:crazy:
Now the batteries died so I didn't get as many as I wanted but I probably couldn't have gotten anything better..it got MUCH more crowded after I took these..




oh and if anyone watches CNN, I might have been on there today...there was a huge boom camera that I was told was CNN that got rather close to me several times...

thanks...at times I began to wonder if I was crazy but it was worth it and people were so excited..Watching people jump up and down, hug, cry when he took the Oath of Office was unforgettable.

I wouldn't have been able to tell it was you on CNN anyhow, as I don't think I've ever seen a pic of you. Of course, if there was a woman they labeled as "Sue ____" and wearing a turtle hat or something, even I might have been able to put together 2+2.

How are you feeling now? You had mentioned dizziness the other day...

9. I'm feeling better.

Really tired and headachy though. I think its just fatigue. The dizziness hasn't been quite as noticeable..oh and I have pictures from DU meetup so you can see what I look like..

In retrospect, I'm glad I stayed home to watch. The boys wouldn't have been happy in that cold weather, along with not being able to see anything. :)
