3. Why they did that on a bridge I don't know.
My experience is from hauling livestock, but I would never turn a large wild animal loose on a bridge.

Obviously the container wasn't very well secured in the back of that truck either. Morans is my conclusion.

10. My first thought was if he was going to live, too!
I didn't want to see pics of someone getting mauled to death :o

I'm glad all he received was either a bite or claw. Maybe the bear was just as surprised at the container falling out of the truck as the ranger was, since it looks like after that one bite/claw, the bear is getting out of there.

it was a forwarded, forwarded e-mail thing, not from around here so I don't even know the agency - looks like a state agency rather than NFS or NWS.
