8. Chicken salad. Well, chicken ON a salad.
We do this a lot.
Liddle bidda meat on a BIG salad.
In this case, grilled chicken then cut into bite sized chunks on a Caesar salad.

Fairly low cal and good for you.
Sometimes shrimp (cheap here on the gulf coast), or beef, or pork.
yum
:-)

Edited on Fri Jan-23-09 08:07 PM by HarukaTheTrophyWife
I was going to change it to Midlo, but I figured I'd just get in trouble.

So MrsG dared me to change it to this, and I did. She now owes me four bottles of Jameson.

On edit: the woman filled me in on what Ukrop's is.

I need to find out when the deli at the health food store is making it. The veggie chef there would definitely make it for me.

22. pan fried steak or maybe something more "ethnic", haven't decided yet
It's raining and our wood pile is pretty wet or I'm sure we would just grill. Have some young squash or Brussels sprouts, and salad stuff too. I'm not real motivated because I haven't moved much today and I'm not really hungry.

26. The rest of the Zat's black beans 'n' rice from Wednesday.
I know, I know, but a) they've been out of the red bean mix for a couple of weeks now (we're lucky any of it at all gets 4,000 miles from home!) and b) Monday was a holiday, remember, so frozen pizza took the place of the usual washday thing. Oh, and c) don't tell anyone back in La., but the sausage has been replaced with the turkey variety.

I told you not to tell them, dammit! :argh:
