12. Atonement
At first that one just kind of irked me, but the last 10 minutes pissed me right off. To think that my parents told me I'd like it...

13. I have read a lot of Holocaust Fiction over the years. Depressing yes but
important.

Very important.

I get in moods every once in a while where I just HAVE to read a new Holocaust book. These things need to be kept in the public consciousness.

For a different take on those events, rent "To Be or Not To Be". There are two versions, an old one with Jack Benny and a newer one with *and made by* Mel Brooks with Anne Bancroft and a wealth of great character actors. It will make you smile and think at the same time.

14. I suggest watching Life is Beautiful.
La Vita è Bella
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118799/

Great movie. Still quite heartbreaking, but also quite amazingly beautiful and even uplifting at times.
