Need some Vista help please....

I bought and downloaded a "Personal Color Viewer" from Benjamin Moore online.

The download of the .exe file completed.

Where does Vista put the damn download so I can set it up?

I can't find ANYTHING that I download on Vista.

5. Crazy I know, but downloads can be found in your "Downloads" file.

Check in there. That's the way it's set up by default I believe.

7. Found it....thanks... only problem is that my downloads file...

is buried under "users", etc. etc. They don't make the damn thing real easy to find.

10. XP Pro has the same problem, so...

I assume you can do with Vista what I do.

You could go through a whole magillah of menus, file associations, where and what to do with stuff, but when the "run or save" window pops up, I say "save." Then another window pops up suggesting where I should save it-- I immediately change their suggestion to my "Download" folder and forever after downloads go there unless I change it again.
