Any typo3 developers here?

I've learned to work within both sites that were created in typo3 -- even though the developer disappeared long ago and never trained me. I can do the basics.

But I'm trying to edit something and cannot find the source code to do so to save my life! It's a "constant" (I think that's what it's called in that program): the menu and footer information. I cannot find that and, quite frankly, don't even know what to look for since it's not part of what I'm able to easily edit.

Oy. If anyone knows this program and can help me with this one thing, I'd be most grateful. If you can PM me that would be great. I've gotta get away from the computer for the night.
