Lynch working with Jodorowski and Herzog on upcoming projects

Strange things are afoot in the Lynch camp. While that statement is a rather obvious one, it may interest folks to know the specifics. Item #1 would be that his Absurda production company has been moving along Alejandro Jodorowsky’s latest effort, King Shot - dubbed a “metaphysical spaghetti gangster film.” The Hollywood Reporter out of Cannes reports that here is your principle cast: Nick Nolte, Asia Argento, Marilyn Manson and Udo Kier.

Item #2 is that Werner Herzog...is collaborating with David Lynch on a low-budget digital video (a la Inland Empire) feature, My Son, My Son. Who out there is not delighted to see a Lynch/Herzog collaboration? My Son, My Son is based on the true story of a San Diego man who acts out a Sophocles play in his mind and kills his mother with a sword. The low-budget feature will flash back and forth from the murder scene to the disturbed man’s story.

AROUND THE NATION; Reagan Lawyer's Son Faces Murder Charge

Published: March 29, 1983
The 20-year-old son of President Reagan's personal lawyer was charged today with first degree murder and rape in his mother's death.

Arraignment for the accused, Michael David Miller, was postponed until April 11.

Mr. Miller is the son of Roy Miller, who handles legal work for the President in connection with taxes and real estate. The nude, battered body of his wife, Marguerite, who was 52 years old, was found Thursday night at their home in a Los Angeles suburb.

Michael Miller was arrested Friday morning after he reportedly admitted the slaying to investigators.

According to fangoria.com, Michael Shannon has been cast in the lead. Also in cast are Willem Dafoe, Chloe Sevigny, Udo Kier and Lynch regular Grace Zabriskie.
