According to K - her Harriet Tubman presentation went well.

I had her wear an "old style" dress, and a head scarf. She also had photographs of Harriet Tubman as props for the class.

Still an inappropriate assignment for second grade, but she seemed to enjoy it.

Our spring break is always late. Last year it was the first week in April though. It is not a "year round" school. But our school district also lets out late (I believe it is June 18 this year).
