Speaking of duct tape! - Something I overheard at the redneck house...

We live in what most people would consider a typical middle class neighborhood. One of the houses behind me is populated with what most people would identify as "rednecks". The pickup truck (obligatory) is covered in hunting and male-oriented bumper stickers. They are usually hanging out in the garage drinking beer. The dominant male uses a riding mower for a fairly small yard (the pool takes up most of it) and lets the toddlers sit on his lap while he mows the lawn.

My wife and I usually take at least one walk around the block every day. On our walk yesterday, the grandfather of the household was in the garage with one of the toddlers trapped in a high chair. We exchanged "Hi"s as we passed and then I heard him say to the toddler, "now, do you know what duct tape is for?"

I almost lost it on the spot.
