I dislike how British people say "in hospital" instead of "in the hospital"
It makes it sound like a state of being you're stuck in rather than a place where you eventually get out of.

4. I hate it too. The single worst problem on the Earth is that the British people
can't speak fucking English... :silly:

(Although really, shouldn't it be "in a hospital" rather than "in the hospital"? It's not like there's only one...)

5. I think people say "in the hospital" because usually there is only
one close by...in a lot of towns anyhow. Maybe that's it.

You wrote 'Überhauptsturmbannführer' totally wrong. It's 'Obersturmbannführer,' which makes you a 'Lt. Col.' in the U. S. Army, if you ever served in the grammar proofreading expeditionary force in Burgundy. Or do you think grammar is only applicable to ze English language?

You went to the Kelsey Grammar School, huh?

"In the hospital" sounds so odd when you really start thinking about it. I think I'm going to start saying "in hospital" now.

a fucking unsingable national anthem, but an anthem nonetheless.

PS, I also dislike how they say "noneless" instead of "nonetheless".

Also they did Shakespeare. I reckon he's on their credit list too.

As in "British", not that gross thing that keeps making the tabloids by either referring to her body part or showing it to the paparazzi...

With Canadians, I figure they're just trying to fight off American cultural infectations. Being from Texas, I entirely sympathize.
