2. You've got a friend in me.
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us," now it's "we."

Ten points to the first person who knows what this is from.

Yes, completely off-topic. Sorry.

23. Actually Bertha I thought the OP WAS referring to the rat!
:rofl:Between the Michaal Jackson song, my mother's 2nd husband, Cartwright and Vereen, I don't know a whole hell of a lot of "Bens".

"I'm sure they'd think again,
if they had a friend like Ben."

27. Nope, I'm talking about Ben in 1977.
Maybe I'm not a good judge of ages. I thought the young Ben was about 12.

But I thought you meant the rat movie scared you when you were 12!

Yes, Young Owl-Eye Ben is probably about 12 or 13. I actually like the kid, probably because I had a friend who looked EXACTLY like him.

Ben in 1977 is as creepy as a kid as he is as an adult.

34. But you can feel some sympathy for him
Certainly in a flash back from several years ago, he was miserable, his dad hated him for "killing" him mother while being born, and ended up being a janitor in that horrible place.

Pearl Jam....

Same quote...last lines.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOf1awNHmf8

Rats

they don't eat, don't sleep
they don't feed, they don't seethe
bare their gums when they moan and squeak
lick the dirt off a larger one's feet
they don't push, don't crowd
congregate until they're much too loud
fuck to procreate till they are dead
drink the blood of their so called best friend

they don't scurry when something bigger comes their way
don't pack themselves together and run as one
don't shit where they're not supposed to
don't take what's not theirs, they don't compare

they don't scam, don't fight
don't oppress an equals given rights
starve the poor so they can be well fed
line their holes with the dead ones bread

they don't scurry when something bigger comes their way
don't pack themselves together and run as one
don't shit where they're not supposed to
don't take what's not theirs, they don't compare...

they don't scurry when something bigger comes their way
don't pack themselves together and run as one
don't shit where they're not supposed to
don't take what's not theirs, they don't compare...

rats...they don't compare
rats...they don't compare
ben, the two of us need look no more

Al Swearengen.

OK,I Goodled.

The only thing I could find that made sense was this:

"Swearengen is the basis for a major character of the same name in the HBO television series Deadwood"

What do I win ? :)

19. Ben Dover of course. What? You don't know him ?
OK,Seriously I'm talking about Benjamin "Ben" Linus a fictional character portrayed by Michael Emerson on the ABC television series Lost. Ben is the leader of a group of island natives called the Others.

He's a damned motherfucker but paradoxically he's also a lovable guy...sometimes,when he feels

that's necessary..Hehehe.

20. Serious reply, no rats or Michael Jackson included
YES I agree! It's that "soothing" lilting voice and the crazy eyes. Not to mention the wanton killing, of course. Michael Emerson is excellent--he's created a villain for the ages. I often wonder what it would have been like with an actor who was more interested in scenery chewing--would have turned the whole thing into camp, I suspect, instead of the chilling mystery that it is.
