Michigan - My Ancestral Homeland - what MUST I do???

I am returning to my ancestral homeland - my mother state.

Besides going to Flint, MI to see the land of my mother's youth - and Bells to drink in the beer of Michigan greatness - what else should I do?

I will eventually go through IN, IL and WI to leave out of Madison - but in the meantime, what should I hit? Some cool park that you like is fine - I just want to soak in my homeland.
