Any seniors or senioritas here?
Sometime, I wish we could talk senior and seniorita business among ourselves on the Senior forum. For instance, I would like to talk about 'Laurel & Hardy' and discuss what comics were your faves of all time.

Then, we could talk about Ford Edsels, Chevrolet Corvairs, or Ford Pintos. We have so many things we could discuss, if only you would visit the 'Senior & Seniorita forum.

1. My dear Jack Sprat!
I am certainly a "seniorita", but I have long felt that the Lounge is home.

I like the mix here...

It's like living in a mixed neighborhood: some oldsters, some youngsters, some kidlets...

I like the diversity!

I'm sorry...

2. Hi Peggy.
Thank you for your kind response. For awhile, I felt like the oldest living person on earth. I understand your affection for the Lounge. Sometimes, I feel like bringing up ancient subjects that younger people would find of no interest. That's my only reason for asking. I noticed that most posts in the Senior forum were of the nature of Medicare, obituaries, and topics that could use an intermix of youthful memories of better days and better health. I understand though.

3. I'm glad you understand!
BTW, I'm 65, and took an early retirement back when I was 61...I haven't had this much fun ever!

I don't know how old you are, but in my book, age is more a function of your attitude. I think being around younger people helps me stay young in my mind...

:pals:

4. I am not nearly as old as you are.
But I still like talking about graveyards, death, and horrid suffering in my spare time.:9

10. The Seniors forum is moribund.
I check it once in a while but there's rarely anything new.

13. Sorry, trof, but '47 is as far back as I go.
I tried the Senior forum for a little while, but I'm so immature I fit better over here, if I fit anywhere at all.

Peggy, my problem with being retired is that I wish I had been able to do it sooner, but I'm happy with what is.
