3. I thought there was something funny going on around my house

this morning and it's not just an inside pet conspiracy. There was a herd of deer, a HERD, in my backyard just now, staring at me. If the wild turkeys show up next, I'M EVACUATING!

14. It's when they get you on the stairs with a load of laundry in your arms.

I hate that! My dogs want me to take a walk in the woods with them today....I think they're about to make their move.

15. My cat tried to kill me like that last year. Cost about $3K, and a broken face.

I went to biffy in the dark one night. I stepped on the cat, and immediately lifted my foot to save him. Lost my balance and fell flat on my face.

My poor mother, she thought the fridge fell over. She flew out out of bed to find me bleeding profusely. I split my eybrow open when I fell. Also I had a broken eye orbit, to be discovered later.

I should have just stepped on the damned cat.

I'm wise to the plot to kill me. He's having meetings with the other pets now. He pretends to be adorable, but I sleep with one eye open now.

by tripping me on the wooden stairs in the backyard and then on the stairs inside the house.
