I asked them to recover four folders: my pictures and desktop, and Mrs. V.'s pictures and desktop.

They recovered the whole god damned thing - everything that was on the hard drive is apparently on these three recovery disks.

It's loading cookies and tiny .gifs and shit like that. I can't believe this.

I'm on the first disk and it's on 2514 of 27346.

They're in (disk)\Documents and Settings\(Your Profile)\Desktop and \My Documents\My Pictures

No need to transfer the entire disk contents if you know where to look.
