1. Awesome, Ava.
I was really nervous when I headed off to college, but excited at the same time. You're far more mature and level headed than I was at that time, and I know you'll do fantastic and love every minute of it!

2. My dear Ava!
Ah, sweetie!

These are the days when you can do the things you really want to!

You can study any subject, and learn the things that interest you...

I look back on my college days very fondly...

It's a real coming-of-age time!

Have a ball, sweetie!

And may your summer fly by...

3. Ah, my Alma Mater..
Lived two years at Rubin, two years at 1 Fifth. . . '67 - '72 (One semester everyone got "pass, no credit" because "bomb scares" kept us out of classes so often... btw, no one was scared)

It's great fun to live in the Village when your room & board aren't a concern. I wonder if Hungry Charlie's is still there. . .

it was one of my favorites - big rooms! the lack of air conditioning does concern me, but then i remember that NYC september isn't like alabama september ;)

4. Hey, got my Grad Degree from there last year...
...though from NYU Steinhardt, not NYU Tisch.

Fun place, but there aren't really ever any "parties" in the traditional sense, like you'd see at other campuses. When the weekends come around, you're gonna have to go out into the city and create your own fun.

(Bet you're just going to HATE that!:))

12. Just a tid bit of info I had to give one of my roomies (A really
sweet girl from Skokie. .)

Washington Square Park is not "the Quad". . .

I'm sure you'll get your "city feet" quickly. .
