60's dance enthusiasts, i need your help
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 10:21 PM by Lethe
what was the dance called when you basically just swing your arms up and down in front of you while shaking your ass?

this was pre-1966

you guys know what i'm talking about?

the arms are more or less straight out in front of you, they alternately go up and down.

2. no it was more about swinging your arms
like, extend your arms fully in front of you, then just alternate them going up and down

Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 10:53 PM by Lethe
the mashed potato involved a lot of inverted footwork with the arms at the sides with the hands horizontal.

what i'm talking about it just the arms straight out in front going up and down

man, after researching on youtube, it looks like that actually takes practice.
