3. those are usually the field level seats
you can get decent club level and upper level seats at Camden Yards for $10-20 bucks.

5. Ok - that's not changed
And those are the areas I prefer hehe.

*whew*

I gasped when I heard "average" and "seventy-five dollars" in the same sentence.

:P

7. it might be different at different stadiums
Tickets to Yankees games are naturally going to be more expensive than O's tickets just because the Yanks will sell them no matter what. I went to a bunch of O's games in 2006 paying no more than 15 bucks for great outfield seats.

4. my goal is to get to a Nats game this year
I work in Baltimore, so I can get to plenty of O's games, but I actually live closer to the Nats stadium but have yet to see a game there.

10. You have to give up your first born to get Red Sox tickets.
So most likely none, which is ok as I sunburn easily. :)

12. Maybe a minor league game or two.
I really used to be a HUGE baseball fan. Anymore I couldn't care less about baseball. For me money and drugs ruined a great game.
I pretty much quit watching in '93. Of course I hear scores and such, but don't care. I couldn't even tell you who won last years series, nor probably any in the past 20 years.
Maybe soccer will finally break through.

19. I forgot about the minor leagues...
Now I have a friend in Rozelle Illinois, and she lives 2 walking blocks from the Rookie League, Shamberg Flyers..

That might be interesting. I understand their tickets are between 5 and 10 dollars.
and the players really hustle I hear, they would like to move up..

27. I hate to buck tradition, but...
...4 dogs and 4 cokes is what...like 40 or 50 bucks these days? More? No thanks.

I'll stick with peanuts. And maybe we'll buy the kids ice-creams when the guy comes around. That's about it.

Still a pretty penny, though.

That said, I'm still glad baseball's back. The dead season is finally over!

PLAY BALL!

GO DODGERS. BEAT THE HATED GIANTS.

THINK BLUE. B-)

28. I was teasing.
We went to a Dodger game last year and sat in the All You Can Eat section. I pretty much can now go the rest of my life without ever eating another Dodger Dog.

30. Hey, that pavilion rocks.
I've sat with the cholos many times over the years.

These days I prefer my boss's tickets...about 5 or 6 rows back and 10 or 12 seats over (stage right) from the ones you can see behind the plate on the television. Brutal in the noonday sun, but hey...it's Dodger Stadium. I think they're like 85 bucks face value. (Thanks, Boss.)

15. Likely none, unless my buddies and I get a suite.
I dislike crowds, and crowds of drunken idiots even moreso. It's also why I might only go to a couple concerts a year.

20. I'll make a point to catch the Cubs when they come to SF and....
the Red Sox when they come to Oakland.

Other than that, I'll just go when people give me extra tickets.

21. Bunch of minor league games
I always catch a fair number of New Hampshire Fisher Cats games (Blue Jays, AA), and my brother and I are planning on hitting some Lowell Spinners games (Red Sox, Short Season A) once they start play in June.

The team down in Nashua has reincarnated itself as The American Defenders, witrh some sort of tie-in to military baseball leagues, but it's basically still the Nashua Pride of the Can-Am League. Very nice place to catch a game.

I've got a friend down in Rhode Island who has invited me down to see a Pawtucket Red Sox game, so I'll take him up on that offer.

22. Minor League games are great
I live very very close to the Bowie Baysox, the O's AA team. Tickets are cheap and it's a great community atmosphere. A couple games were so quiet you could hear the generators humming and one of the players' mom was the loudest person there, cheering her son on.
