Carolina Fans, speak up!
Go Heels. I'm totally tired of the hype about Michigan State, and how they're the hope of the economic recovery.

1. Oh, I'm sure it helped them some
have the Final Four in Detroit.

There is nothing here to compare to the bad shape Detroit is in. :-(

Having said that, GO HEELS!

2. No problem with the FF in Detroit
but has no one noticed that North Carolina has had just a few economic woes, too?

All the stuff about how a Michigan State win would give hope.

Like Charles Kuralt said " is the peoples' university"

5. My reaction to all the hope generated for Michigan is that NC lost a hell of a lot of textile jobs
and that the good citizens of NC are as deserving of some state bread and circus pride as the good citizens of Michigan.

Of Course, any state that is the home of such an awful franchise as the Detroit Lions deserves some sort of break.........

6. Unemployment rates: Michigan 12.0; NC 10.7--Only Oregon and
South Carolina have worse rates than NC with Michigan holding the prize for the highest unemployment rate
in the country. So yes, NC has lost a LOT of jobs, not just in textiles.
