4. You ARE crazy ... only if you are not getting paid time and a half

for hours worked over 40.

12 hours days for just one week is nothing.

A few years ago I lucked into a contract position to work 7 12s for 3 months straight. Let me tell you ... the money POURED in.

My current position (which is pretty good) started out as a temp...:hi:

6. You'll be alright if you do three things:1)Sleep a normal number of hours for you

2)Eat a full, balanced meal during your lunch break and pack energy bars for break time.
3)Don't drink to excess this weekend or next week and avoid caffeine in the latter part of the shift.

It's actually pretty easy to do that crazy sked for just a week. I've done it. The key is treating your body well.
