classy dating sites, as opposed to the HaveaFling sites? Has using a classy site felt safer?

1. It wasn't about safety for me it was about finding someone with common interests

I used SpringStreet. Their ads were on Nerve, Salon and some other websites I frequented.

It worked.

I was referring to the rumor that even though sometimes people might say they want companionship or compatability, it turns out they are just trolling for sex, like in that movie....Burn After Reading!

4. These supposedly above board sites have 2 things in common:

1. For women, be wary because a larger than you imagine segment of the guys are trolling--lookin for someone vulnerable they can have thier way with. Have the guy prove himself up--after corresponding enough ask the guy for phone number and cell number. If he refuses to provide both, end it before it starts. If he's evasive about what he does or where he lives, get out.


2. For guys, be wary because a large percentage of the lady profiles are fake--either outright frauds from Nigeria etc or foreign ladies looking for a green card. The fake ones are easy to spot because the profiles are generic and bereft of detail, or the woman is a looker under thirty but seeking for anyone aged 18-70. They will string the converastion along and then ask for money at some point. There is a website devoted to outing such people. I forget the link

All sites are infected by such practices. All of them. The wesites can't remove the fakes fast enough because not enough people complain. These sites do work for many people. But use caution nonetheless
