Last thing I saw: Ben and Smokey, with the scene of Alex getting ready to be shot.

1. Smokey left and ALEX was standing there

she threw Ben up against a pillar and told him not to harm Locke or she'll hunt him down. Told him to listen to everything Locke says. Ended with Locke throwing down a rope and asking what happened. Ben says "It let me live." Credits.

that's a good point about Desmond not allowed to be killed, but then it wasn't a fatal shot. it seemed like he got hit in his side, or it was deflected perhaps by a can in the bag of groceries.
