Anybody ever use "Error Fix" to scan/repair computer?
It is good? Worth the money? Not spyware?
Anything similar for free?

Thanks.

1. I don't think it will do all that much. There are free registry repair programs
that will pretty much do what this one will. Besides that, I don't think the registry is a big source of computer issues. From what I have seen, it's spyware/malware that is the big trouble maker.

2. You can try CCleaner, which is free
http://www.ccleaner.com/

I recommend cleaning the registry after removing software, especially ones that can conflict like security software.

Where is this Error Fix? I don't think all varieties of that are clean.

4. A good companion to CCleaner
Is http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html">Revo Uninstaller

I remove a program with Revo then I clean up any extraneous bits with CCleaner.

Damn, I love CCleaner.
