Well, we're off to Puerto Rico tomorrow!
Due to me being underemployed, it's out first vacation in 3 years. We've never been there before and are really looking froward to it!

2. The Embassy Suites in San Juan
It's a Casino too, which I'm not wild about. But we got a good deal. So maybe next time we;ll rent an apartment or something.

3. Make sure you get to the beaches outside of San Juan
They are MUCH nicer..I stayed in El Dorado..about 30 minutes West of San Juan...

4. I was there a few years back.
We were told it was OK to run red lights, after stopping to make sure the way was clear. This was meant to prevent car jacking which had become more common. It is beautiful there and the people are beautiful too. Enjoy your vacation!

Do I have some drunken Sailor stories from Puerto Rico. Have a good time but stay out of the slums.

But it involves a tattoo, strippers, a lot of booze, and a fellow sailor catching some fungus on his tongue. ... Live every Navy story should.

9. It rains everyday in San Juan
It's actually kind of fun to slosh around in warm rain.

And I drive through the slums all the time. I don't think it gets much worse than here!
