because to store them in a file they must first fit in the file. He's right about one thing. That card doesn't belong in a Rolodex. It would find itself being tossed in the waste bin. Whether or not I bothered to copy down any pertinent information printed on the card would depend on whether he is as a big a douche in person as he is in this video.

but so does every single card I receive from anybody I do business with. It's a creative field though: if your card was B&W or three-color (unless it was really impressive), I'd probably trash it. It's an artistic field, your card sells your creativity.

Mine is 5-color on one side (vertical color bars of varying hue from one-card to the next) and off-white text on a light-blue background on the other side.

Actually, I feed all the cards I get into a scanner which automatically OCRs it for the contact info and feeds it into my CIM software.

His card might be OK as a small piece of artwork - an interesting design study - but that's it.
