2. You might want to check out the reviews on it
in the gardening group. People are less that thrilled with it. Looks like a big gimmick to me.

I wouldn't waste the money to try it.

3. I don't know why it wouldn't work.
We have a regular garden started but I am going to try to grow some food this way.

This makes sense for people with small living spaces.
