3. Wow. She was very influential during my teenage years.
The first adult movie I ever saw starred Marilyn Chambers.

RIP.

Harry Kalas and Marilyn Chambers in the same day. We will wake up to a darker world.

And long time Arizona State football coach, Bruce Snyder. And Charlie Kennedy (played with Gene Krupa).

33. Also Mark "Bird" Fidrych, former baseball player.
It's weird when several famous people die on the same day. And Marilyn and Mark were both only in their fifties.

13. I knew her brother, Billy Briggs
I believe he was in a famous Boston band, the Remains. He was a friend of my boyfriend , Willie Alexander, another iconic Boston rocker, in the 70s.

17. I spent my formative adolescent years at the Rat.
The 70s were before my time, but I did see Thrills and the Neighborhoods at an all-ages show there in 1980. :-)

19. Ah, the Rat!
It was actually called the "Rathskeller", but I think Willie re-named it.

32. I spent plenty of time at the Rat myself.
Something weird would always happen there. Also saw Willie play a number of times; loved his music.

They're legendary in certain circles-- especially with the Beatles connection.
