To say that Mike Illitch is well loved here in Detroit is an understatement

I used to live near one and they'd have $5 pizza and oh my did the kids love that for a treat.

Wish there was one up here.

But really they prefer Pizza Hut. That stuffed crust nonsense. Ew.

3. I like Little Caesars pizza a lot
I usually go there or a local pizzeria. The Illitchs are a great Detroit family and represent the city well. I know they own a lot of land in Detroit so hopefully they will continue to be apart of Detroit's future.

5. I don't think they use real cheese
At least if they do it's some pretty nasty cheese.

6. he is the opposite of the founder of Domino's Pizza
whose first store was in Ypsilanti.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,186202,00.html

NEW YORK — A former marine who was raised by nuns and made a fortune selling pizza has embarked on a $400 million plan to build the first town in America to be run according to strict Catholic principles.

Abortions, pornography and contraceptives will be banned in the new Florida town of Ave Maria, which has begun to take shape on former vegetable farms 90 miles northwest of Miami.

Tom Monaghan, the founder of the Domino’s Pizza chain, has stirred protests from civil rights activists by declaring that Ave Maria’s pharmacies will not be allowed to sell condoms or birth control pills. The town’s cable television network will carry no X-rated channels.

9. This is why I tell my parents to NEVER order Domino's Pizza.
If you got to have fast food pizza, anything but Domino's.

10. Just the general badness of Domino's isn't enough?
Domino's introduced the Edible Box™ many years ago. According to former Domino's CEO Tom Monaghan, "since our pizza tastes like the box it comes in, we've found our customers can really stretch their food dollars by first eating the pizza, then devouring the box."

When asked if promoting the practice of eating pizza boxes could lead to intestinal distress, Monaghan chuckled. "I see you've never had a Domino's Pizza!"

19. ROFL! However, I don't think their pizza is that bad. Papa John's
is better tasting fast food pizza. Monaghan is a theocratic nut, so try not to support him especially when there is plenty of other fast food pizza chains out there. Better yet, try to find a good locally owned restaurant for pizza. Baltimore is not known for it's pizzas, but there is a great restaurant called "Angelo's Pizza." Some of the best pizza I've ever had. :9

25. Good locally-owned pizza house--in FAYETTEVILLE?
There's one locally-owned pizza house in Fayetteville, and it's not quite as good as Pizza Hut. (And considering the mass-marketness of Pizza Hut, that's saying something.)

I don't remember the name of it, but there was a very good pizza place in Carthage, New York. When we lived in Carthage, we'd eat there about once a month, and after we moved to Lowville we still went back there on occasion.

26. i got fired for having long hair
lol, i was hired with long hair....then a year later i was told to cut it or face being fired (regional manager, bleh). i told them to fuck off and got a job the next day at barnes and noble (worked the cafe....sucked bad!!!)

but, out of all the jobs i've had i would have to say working at Little Caesars was my favorite job ever. I always closed, and the manager usually bought a six pack and we'd drink it while closing. (i was 16 at the time and that rocked!) Half the staff were my buddies, and most of the time we just goofed off and got high while munching on pizza. Ah, those were the days. :D

frantically with his sign sometimes. I don't know why but it about kills me.

Poor guy is just there on the corner in some hot, stinky costume making an ass of himself for $7.50/hr to sell some shitty pizza.
I'm always tempted to park and go talk to the guy. He actually brightens my day. I wish the pizza didn't suck so much or I'd eat there all the time.

This is what I see every morning at my first stop light:

24. I found a Little Caesars in the Philly suburbs.
Just happened upon it. I don't even think it was on their website.

We stopped and I greedily crammed an entire bag of Crazy Bread in my mouth.

Crazy Bread.....

We used to have one not too far from us, but it didn't last long. The nearest one I know of is in Hagerstown...if it's still around.
