Lakeshore Productions, Inc. announces that Italian-American punk folk fusion band Il Eagles will be opening for Chuggo at this week’s Buffalo Tea Party, scheduled for April 18th at The W Club.

Il Eagles lead singer Tom Moran describes the band’s sound as a combination between 1970s progressive band Rush and punk-ska indie acts such as Casting Asparagus and No Amnety! Moran has been favorably compared by some to Smashing Pumpkins’ frontman Billy Corgan.

Il Eagles have expressed excitement about being made part of the historic Tea Party protests. “We want to bring awareness to the millions of Americans who are oppressed every day by their own government by having to pay taxes,” Moran remarked.

The Buffalo Tea Party is planned for Saturday, April 18th at The W Club, located at 199 Delaware Avenue. The event is planned to take place between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Il Eagles will take the stage at 1:00 pm, and will be followed immediately by Chuggo, who will perform from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm.
