Do most decent sized cities have a "Chinatown" section?
when we went over to Europe, I was surprised that when we got off at the Termini train station in Rome, Italy we were surrounded by Chinese restaurants and small Chinese shops, not at all unlike NYC or Boston.

Then, when we moved on to Florence a few days later, we got out of the train station there, rounded a corner and there were a bunch of Chinese restaurants and shops again...

In Milan, our hotel was not centrally located, so we took a tram into the city center and passed by a large area of Chinese shops & restaurants again.

We didn't spend enough time in Nice in France to find a Chinatown section, but I'd be surprised if there was not one.

Is this a worldwide thing? Or, just for the US & Europe?

1. They were global merchants, so it's pretty common in Europe and the US in cities based on trade. nt

Although contrary to the popular Doobie Brothers' song, it's not a 'Chinatown'. In fact, I've never seen a single Asian person there.

11. I don't think Delaware's cities count
as decent sized - sort of like Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport & Stamford in CT not being big enough.
