1. That's called "ambition."
If he keeps it up, it'll be blind ambition. I could have sworn I heard that cat say, "Whassa mattah, wise guy? Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

Ok, so I didn't hear that, but still, cute video. :D

2. I'm always amazed at the speed of a cat's paws
They operate on a much faster plane of existence than we do.

8. They're brilliant
This can also make them difficult at times. For example, Mick knows how to work the button on the garbage can lid.

A lot of them aren't particularly good with kids either. Mick isn't, but Beag loves kids. She loves everybody. She'd probably let a rapist into the house.

10. Well, I must say my Lolly is not feeling Bella right now.
Every now and then she will give her a tiny lick. But she also growled at her once. Freaked me out.

My Hank would also probably let a rapist in. Especially if they came with food. I just hope his size scares away most.

14. The people across the street have two kids
I think they're four and eight. Today they were outside playing, and the four-year-old kept wanting to come over and play with Mick. He was flipping his shit snarling at her, and I'm like, "you can't come over here." That kid loves me, though. Every time she sees me, she comes over and asks me if I was her camp counselor (WTF?) the segues into a bunch more random questions.

18. Yeah, kids usually love me
I spent a decent chunk of time on Easter wrestling and doing fake karate with my cousin's kids.

12. I'm thinking of teaching Frankie how to make coffee and get the newspaper.

As far as a rapist goes - he would tear to shreds anyone he thought was threatening me.

edited...GET the newspaper. Not BET the newspaper.

17. Yeah, Mick would definitely shred anybody up
He also sounds like he is about 100lbs, and he has since he was a 29lb 5-month-old puppy. When we get stuff delivered, we figure he's probably the best deterent for anyone to try to come back and break in ever. He'll spend the whole time snarling like he's rabid and hurling his body against the bedroom door.

Mick could learn all those things; he chooses not to.

15. They are pretty dogs.
I have so many dogs on my "I have to have one" list. It is pitiful really. Not sure there is a dog I wouldn't want. Except maybe a toy poodle.

OF course I also am dying to have a pig. Not sure why. But I feel like I have to have one. So, bacon will be a thing of the past once that happens.

4. Funny!
That's exactly how my cat looks and acts. Fortunately the corgi is just short enough that the cat can't get at his throat.
