Caught Jeff Beck at the House of Blues the other night.

What a great show! Phenomenal! As you probably know, he gets the wildest sounds out of his guitar. His current band includes a bass prodigy, Tal Whitenfeld, a woman of about 22 or so. She is terrific. At one point, the two of them played a bass solo together, two strings each on the same bass. "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" blew me away as usual. (I'd love to have a tape loop of that song to make love to, though I have never had the opportunity to do that as yet.) The encore included him ripping through the "Peter Gunn" theme.
