Craigslist is hardly worth the trouble anymore....
I've been trying to sell a wireless phone, and the only responses I get are similar to the following:

--
Hello,
How are you doing? I am willing to buy your item just want to ask if am not going to make any repair on it

:banghead:

2. I did get a significant discount on a rental property
I saw a rental on VRBO, and happened to see the same property on Craig's list for $150 less a week. When I called, the owner said "where did you find us?" and I said "Craig's List", and she gave me the Craig's List price. Sweet.

5. Ours is always so screwed up
because people in Tulsa and the surrounding area are too stupid, lazy, inconsiderate and dishonest to put things in the categories they belong in and they are constantly posting prohibited items. I end up doing more flagging than shopping for actual items.

If more people using it for either selling or shopping would take the responsibility to flag the bullshit it wouldn't be so difficult to use. I mean it is a free site and all they ask is that people using it keep it cleaned up, but apparently that's too much to ask. :eyes:

6. If you try to sell a car
90% of the responses are "I am currently traveling out of country, but am very interested in you car...."

Kind of backass versions of the nigerian e-mail scam.

And if a car or motorcycle deal seems to good to be true? That person will probably just happen to have taken a work assignment in London, but can still sell you the vehicle....

10. I gained a lot of weight in the last couple of years
and I outgrew my clothes. My ex put an ad in the "wanted" section for handmedown clothes and got a HUGE response. He even told them that they would have to bring the clothes to me as I don't have a car. Three people came by and dropped off clothes and one guy in pueblo co. mailed me a box of clothes. Now I have clothes coming out of my ears! All my size!
