Boston...:hide: and before the snark storm starts I expect that Nationals aren't on this poll because no one is REALLY surprised at their 0-7 start....

2. yeah, maybe not them at 0-7
It'd be a much bigger suprise if they had 5 wins at this point.

Griffey's return is a psychological boost whose impact is just beginning to be noticed.

5. and that was all without Ichiro
who had a great first game last night. In that division, they have a real shot at the playoffs.

9. Marlins are 8-1, baby!
Next stop.....um.....I won't mention it due to the terms of the Tommy_Carcetti-TZ Chuggo Week Armistice of April 2009.

11. Marlins. What a dominant start.
Also, Cleveland is 3-7 after just now finishing the destruction of the Yankees in their home opener.

13. It's been a few years since the Marlins won it all, so they're due for another WS.

14. The Orioles at 6-3 should be on the list...and no they arent for real.
They sure can hit...but their pitching staff is mediocre at best.

soooooo fun to watch! It's like '95 and '01 rolled up into one. Last year they were not even watchable... so pathetic I simply couldn't stomach it! I think it's for real! Great chemistry...new MG, Manager, lots of new faces...lots of old baggage out the door. some healthy competitiveness between the Griff and Ichi...it's all good!

17. Man the Angels have had one of the worst starts to a season ever.
A fan was killed on opening day, they lost one of their starting pitchers in a car crash, and they got in a fight with the Red Sox. And this is only the first week. :yoiks:

20. Angels, if I have to pick one.
Really, I'd go with, "It's April 16th, we don't know jack yet," but I see the A's winning that division.
