The Office and Parks and Rec
These shows annoy me to no end. I've watched several times and I've tried to like them, but I just don't. I don't get the appeal.

1. They aren't for everyone. My mom is a HUGE "The Office" fan.
I watch it from time to time but just don't feel the same as she does about it.

3. Of course! She said to hug you back because you are too sweet!
I swear she said it. I've been begging her to say ma-ma and she comes out with that!! ;)

5. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Everyone I work with plus my husband and children love The Office. I've watched a few times but I'm just not feelin' it.

8. Whew
:hi:

It just annoys me to no end. I just want to smack some of the characters. I don't find it funny at all... x(

9. I think the older I get
the more annoying I find most sitcoms. I might worry that I'm losing my sense of humor...but I know that can't be...because I think I'm hilarious!

11. I used to enjoy The Office. Now, I find it a downer.
It is hardly ever funny anymore. In fact, I find it kind of depressing.
Nothing EVER works out for Michael. Ryan is a prick, I hate him, and it annoys me that
Michaels tongues his butt. I hate the new guy that is in Michael's position. Why is he so mean to Jim??

Is it just me?

What do you mean by that?

12. My brother convinced me to start watching The Office....I became hooked on it
and there are plenty of shows I just will not watch...this one just cracks me up. Scary thing is, most of this shit actually goes on in my workplace, only the boss isn't Steve Carell (sp) but a scary-looking 70 year old woman who chain-smokes and runs around the building getting on the intercom and screaming for people to "Call her wherever she is"!!!!

15. The Brit version of The Office is pretty good. Our version blows goat.
Steve Carrell couldn't make me laugh with a vat of laughing gas, a jar of tickle powder and a feather.

19. I've started watching The Office.
I love it, and 30 Rock, too, partly because of the anti-sitcom feel of them. I think the last laugh-track sitcom I really liked was Seinfeld.

:hi:

20. I don't watch much entertainment TV but I sure miss Arrested Development.
That was such a great show. Have they started filming the movie?

21. I hated the Office the first time I watched it
then I tried another time and still didn't get it, ended up watching it at a friend's house a couple of years later and thought that episode was funny so I watched a couple of episodes on Hulu and thought they were funny. Now all of the sudden I'm obsessed with it, I watched all the first four seasons on Netflix and watch the new episode every week. I have no idea what finally clicked with me, I usually won't give a show more than two chances, life is too short to have to get used to a TV show.

22. Raises hand to join lizzegrace's side of the opinion.
I've never been hooked by The Office and since Parks & Rec has been compared to it in most reviews I'm unlikely to start watching that one either.

23. I never found the Office the least bit funny.
I actually found it quite annoying. I've been trying Parks & Recreation and I'm not into that either.
