I'm so glad they ruined Opening Day at the new Yankee Stadium.

2. Not to preempt my eventual surprising Jeter-bashing OP...
...but if anybody but A-Rod was the player responsible for that play, nobody would even have remembered it. If Jeter does it, it's The Captain making a hustle play, and the umps were awful for stopping it.

Again, that's for another time. Another hint: It's the house that Bernie built.

They did it by sucking in a way only the Wankees can. Cleveland just exacerbated the point.
