My non-verbal son will "respond" to different, unexpected things. He'll "sing" a line or two from the Batles' "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah" and the intro to Smashmouth's "All Star." No connection, and they're not songs he hears often, but he just likes "singing" them at various times.

Like in the middle of Church.
