8. It was the cheapest we have EVER escaped from there -- about $32
Haruka says she feels weird she has no furniture to put together.

11. I always spend more than I plan to - they get me on the way to the checkout

My friend and I always are like 'look how cute that _____ is, we have to get that." We end up with all this stuff we don't really need, but it's so much fun to browse around and eat in the cafeteria.

15. that's exactly what I do!
Although my favorite wrought iron combination candle holder and center piece comes from there. I love their kitchen stuff and house-wares, as well as fun toys and textiles for kids.

22. I wanted to buy some dish towels, because they had pumpkin colored ones
Haruka got very stern with me, and reminded me we already have a zillion. Of course, then she started throwing things in the bag.

9. Which one do you go to?
I just recently fell in love with IKEA - they didn't have one near me until the last two or so years.

I go to the one in South Philly.

10. Paramus
The one in Elizabeth is closer, but it's scary: very rude people from the City go there. An 80-year-old lady tried to beat me up last time we went there (seriously!).

Plus, the EMS and Campmor stores are only about 10 minutes away from IKEA.

Today was free breakfast there, too!

As do the coordinating Benno CD towers (though I don't know why I bother, all of my music is on my Mac and iPod these days.

added: They must be in the dust-attracting black-brown finish.

I installed the lights on top of them over the weekend. They are kind of weird to put together but work wonderfully.

The birch finish can have two inches of dust and you don't even notice!

25. "Pimp my Ikea: How to bling up your 'Billy' bookcase"
What happened when we let the cream of up-and-coming British design talent loose on three basic pieces from the Scandinavian home-furnishing giant?
