Anybody see the film "Shooter" starring Mark Wahlberg?

A friend of mine was raving about it today - said the movie was fantastic, and that most of it was filmed in Philly.

If you saw it, did you like it? Or no?

1. it was pretty good, but predictable as hell

but I'm jaded I guess. I've seen way too many movies

3. I hardly ever watch movies, so maybe I'll like it.

I figured that if it's filmed in Philly, at least I'll get a kick out of seeing my stomping grounds. :)

2. I watched it...it was pretty good, but as response #1 stated, it was predictable

4. I like Mark Wahlberg.

And he's had a love affair with Philly for a long time - so I'll give the movie a shot, so to speak. :P

Yup - Phils won, BARELY. Jesus - WTF happened to them? We traded Pat Burrell - and got Ibanez, who is actually BETTER than Burrell. Otherwise, no real changes to the team. I don't get it. I don't see any fire in them anymore. :(

As for the Flyers....OMFG. They HAD to win this one - but I'm not holding my breath on them continuing to win. You know what they're famous for. :eyes:

I was pretty buzzed Friday night and yesterday, but my kids are back home now - so I gotta be Mom again. :7 :hi:

6. The Flyers actually played a very defensive game and moved the puck around

rather well...couple of fights in that game! :D

The Phillies? I'm glad they won, but geez...where have they been?

5. Good movie, has the elements of our military working for corporations...

...and mercenaries that you find in Iraq. Corrupt senator, double-crosses, conspiracy theories, etc.


Not bad, overall.

7. It plays on HBO channels rather frequently. It was ok--not great.
