NYC was awesome! AirTran not so much.

On Saturday afternoon I did get the opportunity to walk through Central Park eating an ice cream and pop into the Frick Collection. Had no idea that jewel was even there!

I had a great time talking to the cabbies who all gushed every time they saw an Obama sticker on a car. Needless to say, they had plenty of opportunities. My traveling companions have to see it to believe it, but wherever I go cab drivers tell me their life stories. Not sure why, but I've met some wonderful people that way and heard some incredible personal narratives.

My flight that was supposed to arrive around 10PM last night deposited us unceremoniously into the terminal at quarter to one in the morning (the only part of the hellish trip that wasn't directly attributable to AirTran sucking big time unless the pilot was the one who broke the tow bar necessitating a wait for another one and an inspection of the aircraft). And then I had an hour's drive home. Off to a meeting and then it's beddie bye time for me.
