Oooo... I have a feeling I'm about the get in a facebook fight!
My RW friend just posted this: Oh yeah, that's why I voted for McCain...Obama declassified memos pertaining to the CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques which could submit some agents to foreign inquiries and even foreign criminal charges, permanently thwarting the ability of many agents to conduct themselves on foreign soil. Nice job Mr. President, and all to appease your farthest-left-leaning constituents.

To which I replied: Oh yeah, I forgot how big of a fan McCain was of torture. That is what we're talking about, right?
"enhanced interrogation" = torture

Switch those words in your paragraph and see what a difference it makes.

I have a feeling this is going to be a hot one. I'll keep you posted.

That should fire it up.

3. All the tactics in the memo were already well known, the memos are simply the attempt at...

Legally justifying them. And they are war crimes conducted by war criminals, and as such, SHOULD be subject to not only foreign but American criminal charges.

It's not really much of a fight when they are so obviously wrong about everything.

4. Here's hoping this does "thwart the ability of many agents to conduct" torture.
That's the whole point, isn't it?

5. I've unceremoniously dropped MySpace friends for less
Basically, they have a right to express their opinions, and I have a right to remove them from my friend list.

Face Book lets you do that, right?
