Texas is a special place
We're having an usually cool and awesome spring despite being a major contributor to global warming. Texans can violate basic human rights as a matter of policy and walk away scott free. Woo-hoo!

i used to live there eons ago.

had a crib near alabama and main and we did lots of blow.

this was back when me and my old lady would cruise the heights on sunday hangover day slugging tall boys and looking for bbq places that weren't there anymore.

Anyway, you're right, the town's gone to yuppie hell. Thank God for the recession or we'd never catch a breath.

6. WAAAAAAAY back
when i was a teenager, we'd do the hardcore shows near what were warehouse districts near downtown.

skateboarding in parking garages, getting chased by rentacops, smoking weed.

ah, memories.

and yeah, i'm kinda glad for the recession. it put a halt to much economic cleansing of urban areas.

there's nothing better than an abandoned, half-completed condo project.
