Oak pollen

We get heavy pine pollen here in coastal Alabama.
Doesn't bother me.

But now we're getting heavy oak pollen.
Never happened before to my knowledge.
Global warming?

The bay was covered with a layer of it this morning.
And I have a raw throat and nasal passages.
Sinuses are clogged.

We get it every year. A thick, disgusting layer of yellow green crud on everything I own that lives outside, (not including the Midlets, I allow them to shower)

And, here's the rub. It can scratch the paint on your car. Be careful.

and onto everything. Can't even take a nap outside without getting teabagged by a pine tree. :P
