Never done it before, and honestly, I'm not sure what inspired me to do it today. Maybe it was the fact that yet ANOTHER of my friends from college just got engaged.

Actually, that was probably it in a nutshell. That, and the desire for human companionship, blah blah blah.

So, yeah. I replied to a personal ad for the first time either. Wish me luck, I guess? :shrug:

Really, be careful. Not to be all paranoid, but you never know who you will encounter. There are crazy people everywhere, not just on Craiglist!

11. I did the internet date thing once. That's how I met my ex.

But I met 100 women before that, and most of them could not spell or respond in complete senetences.

Just be careful, and be patient.

I don't know why I even bothered. Paid a fair deal of money for that year, and wound up with exactly nothing.

I'm not getting my hopes up. Then again, I've never had them up when it comes to dating so... Harder to get disappointed, I guess?

We'll see how it works out. If I find a reason to be excited, then I'll get excited.
