7. For a cheap beer it's pretty good
It's sure as hell better than Budweiser or any of those other corporate brews.

12. Shhhhhh! Don't let the beer snobs know- they might drive up the price!
You are right- PBR, especially in the bottle is a fine pilsner- as good as many European brands and it blows most American Pilsners out of the water...

13. Is it still the official beer of annoying hipsters, or did they find a new shiny thing?
The price got high enough to rival good beer, with so many skinny pants wearin' nitwits buying it up.

I wear my pants as baggy as possible just so you know.

Sure they wear pegged pants, but so did Elvis and the early Beatles...

Every generation has it's trends.

They are mostly good kids. Well, at least they are not hippies.... ;)

When I was in Paris- all the kids there dressed that way too- I think it is just a generation thing...

16. Not my fave, but I have family history with PBR
My grandfather and uncle retired from Pabst. My father worked there for a while also. My early childhood was spent growing up with the smell of Pabst in the air and I loved going back to visit my grandparents and getting a whiff of it. Alas they closed that brewery, but I don't have much reason to go back there except for funerals anyway.

better than the completely characterless Bud or nearly tasteless Coors.

31. Hey, you like what you like! I get flamed away for liking Coors Light.
No. 1- apparently by drinking it, I am supporting Freeps and shit like that.
No. 2- some here think it tastes like piss

But I like it. I would drink Peroni all of the time, but Coors is a little more price friendly, and it is more convenient at times.

Flame away indeed.

34. I know! I know! I have tried about every beer out there.
My husband is a beer aficionado. But I like Coors. I can't help it. It isn't like I try to go out and support neocons, but they make a beer I like. I am trying to be better about it. But I will admit, I tend to try my best to overlook the fundie part. Again, flame away. I am bad, I know. But I do try, so that has to count for something.
