I just got back from the fresh hell that is Chuck E Cheese
I consumed a food like substance. I tripped over thousands of little brats.

I have a splitting headache.

1. They have killer coupons, though
I can be fed (sort of) and have an extremely happy 5yo for under 30 bucks.

Honest to goodness, though, they need a full-liquor bar and better pizza.

Town cops usually spend more time responding to fights at Chuck E. Cheeses than at the local bars.

That's about the only ridiculous thing that hasn't yet happened at a Chuck E. Cheese.

that it takes a rare adult to survive Chuck E Cheese without being three sheets to the wind.

For myself, I really don't understand why they don't sell bourbon there. It would work SO much quicker.

24. Well the salads seem "fresh" enough to me.
Though it might just be our CeC place.

And yes I do have to go there periodically.

Later on when they get a little older there's Celebration Station... same kind of madness only costs more and aimed at a higher age kid.

Thankfully, they hated it (too noisy, other kids pushing them, etc.). I'm surprised at the number of parents who seem to tolerate these sort of places.

25. The parents tolerate it because their children tell them they like it.
Plus this parent knows when NOT to go, so if mwooldrijr needs a CeC fix and I have the money then I take him when the place is quieter.

over those who are still at the party.

Odd to think of it that way, but it's true.

Congratulations on using your bad experience to produce good judgement.
Many people never get that.

46. I endured a few kiddie birthday parties there.
The food is mediocre at best and the noise level from screaming children is headache inducing. After enduring a few parties I took to dropping my kids off and picking them up when the party was over. The CEC birthday party seems to be a rite of passage in my area.
