3. yes you definitely can
What usually happens is your seeds get confiscated in customs and then you get a letter in the mail informing you of what happened...end of story, 90% of time thats as far as it goes...nobody comes to your house or anything.

There have been cases where the DEA has tracked growers down and arrested them through their seed purchases via mail. (you would have to be really dumb to order the seeds to come where you are growing though, don't do that ever!)

Almost all of the overseas websites selling cannabis seeds post all over their site that they WONT ship to the USA, but many of them still do. Another thing is if you actually post that question on a message board, most people will say the companies won't ship to USA either, in order to protect the company they order from.

Seeds from the Netherlands are the most routinely nabbed seeds in customs. A safer bet is to order from companies in Canada or non-Netherlands Europe. There are some reputable seedbanks in BC Canada with great genetics and customer service.

Here's another good source with pretty pictures and detailed descriptions.

I always used to think marijuana was marijuana, and the only difference was where it was grown. I had no idea of the tremendous variety of strains, all with different effects. Some of the descriptions here sound very appealing. Wish I had a green thumb.

on edit: I'm just talking out of my ass here, but I seriously doubt if the people at Customs have the time, the means, or even the inclination, to find out who the hell might be buying a packet of 10 marijuana seeds.
